.For natural gas-fueled burners, inspect the main air source regulating valve to ensure its integrity. Do not attempt to adjust the gas company’s regulating valve; they will assist with cleaning, maintenance, and adjustment of the main air source regulating valve. If a sensing line is present, examine it for any signs of damage.
.Filter – If a “y” type filter is installed prior to controlling the regulator, pay attention to regular cleaning.
.Control regulating valve – Assess the ease of adjusting the regulating bolt on the gas burner’s control regulating valve. Ensure that all exits and screens are unobstructed.
4. The burner should be inspected for sensitivity in manual switch adjustment and proper installation of the valve handle within the gas pipe group. Verify if the barometer is functioning correctly as accurate pressure display is crucial during burner regulation. Confirm operation by rotating both low and high-pressure switches.
.Clean and lubricate the joint of the air valve; replace with an appropriate fitting if it appears sticky or excessively rough. If removable pipes are utilized in burner installation, they should also undergo thorough cleaning.
